  • Prepare your HP printer for faxing. Faxing generally requires a standard telephone service connection.
  • Take out the telephone cord which came with the printer.
  • Connect the phone cord to the phone jack slot on the telephone and connect the 1-Line jack in the sot at the back of the printer.
  • Open up the fax settings and preferences.
  • You can either use the Fax setup Wizard on Windows or can navigate to the fax and setup menus on the control panel of the printer.
  • You can enter the Fax Header. It consists of your name, the name of your business, and also the 10-digit fax telephone number.
